On October 8, 2019, Governor Gavin Newsom approved AB 752 and it has been Chaptered by Secretary of State – Chapter 616, Statutes of 2019.

About the Bill: This bill would require a multimodal transit station that meets certain criteria, including that it has an enclosed waiting room of an unspecified size, no less than 4,000 square feet, or a transit station that is proposed to serve California’s high-speed rail system, that commences operations or a renovation on or after January 1, 2021, to include a lactation room. To the extent the bill imposes additional duties on a local agency, the bill would impose a state-mandated local program.
