It’s National Breastfeeding Month and the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) is focused this year on making a difference for parents. To celebrate the themes of This is Our Why and Enable Breastfeeding, the California Breastfeeding Coalition is hosting a social media photo contest. 
Starting Aug. 7, you can enter the photo contest by sharing what breastfeeding, pumping or lactation accommodation looks like in your California workplace. To enter the contest, follow these instructions:
- Post a photo of you expressing milk or chest/breastfeeding at work between Aug. 7 and 23 on either Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or Twitter (now called X).
- In the caption, tell us what industry you’re in and how workplace lactation accommodation affects or has affected your breastfeeding journey.
- Tag us in the photo and include #CBCPhotoContest
For your entry to be considered, the date of your post must be between Aug. 7 and 23, though the photo can be from the past. The workplace in the photo must be located in California. You can locate our social media accounts here:
