Mission Statement:
Provide breastfeeding education, information and resources for health care professionals, mothers and families.
Activity Highlight:
In 2018, the Coalition organized a Donor Breastmilk Drive in observance of Breastfeeding Awareness Month. The San Jose Mothers Milk Bank came to receive the donated milk and screen moms on the spot. Donors and their families were invited to enjoy a nice breakfast, network with other mothers, play games and participate in the many raffle items available. In additions, each mom was given a personal gift for their donation as a thank you. We had 17 mothers who donated a total of 2,747 ounces of breastmilk (21.48 gallons)!
