Mother-Baby Friendly Workplace Awards


Since 2007, we have been honoring businesses with the Mother-Baby Friendly Workplace Award. These businesses are recognized since they fully comply with state and federal laws that require employers to provide a private space and break time to pump at work. They seek creative solutions to fully support breastfeeding mothers beyond what the law requires by:

  • Developing and implementing a written breastfeeding policy;
  • Ensuring all staff are aware of their policy; and
  • Informing employees about accommodating their breastfeeding needs before and after parental leave
