This year we mark a significant milestone as an organization as we celebrate 30 years of BreastfeedLA! We cordially invite you to celebrate with us at BreastfeedLA’s 2024 Birthing Boldly, Fearlessly Feeding: Know Your Rights for Parents & Providers (formerly known as: Advocacy Day) taking place on August 29 & 30, 2024.

This two-day event will bring community members and professionals together to explore crucial topics affecting families in the childbearing years. Attendees will explore birthing people’s rights, paid family leave, lactation rights and more! This is a great opportunity to gain knowledge, foster dialogue, and ensure you know how to make sure your voice is heard!

Over the last 30 incredible years, we’ve worked tirelessly to broaden our impact by establishing inclusive support groups, offering accessible lactation consultations, and hosting enlightening workshops across diverse communities. Our belief remains resolute: by equipping caregivers and individuals with knowledge and support, we’re nurturing not only babies but also the limitless potential of future generations.

Through engaging presentations, panel discussions, role-playing exercises, and networking opportunities, attendees will gain valuable insights, skills, and resources to drive positive change in breastfeeding policies, support systems, and community practices. Join us in celebrating three decades of transformative impact and charting a course towards a future where every individual has the knowledge, support, and rights to nurture the health and well- being of themselves and future generations.

NO CODE – You are able to cover your costs to attend the summit
KYR50 – You can pay 50% of the costs to attend the summit. You plan to attend on August 29th and 30th, and you can cover the cost of your meal for one day. Only available for 100 people.
KYRCOMP – You cannot afford to pay for your ticket to the summit and you plan to attend both days. Only available for 50 people.
