Virtual Community Forum

Current and up-and-coming AANHPI lactation professional community members will share about their journey to becoming lactation professionals. It will be a casual discussion with an opportunity to engage the audience in how we as a community can bridge the gap in lactation resources for our AANHPI communities.

2024 AANHPI Breastfeeding Week Coloring Contest

We are hosting a coloring contest to celebrate AANHPI Breastfeeding Week!! Download one of 7 coloring pages posted on the AANHPI Breastfeeding Week Facebook page, color it, scan or take a photo of your work and post your submission as a comment under our coloring contest post on our Facebook page no later than August 31, 2024. You may enter as many times as you
like; please indicate the age category as stated below with your submission.
By uploading your artwork to the AANHPI Caucus, you authorize posting of your work on the AANHPI Breastfeeding Week Facebook page.

Age categories are:

• 5 years old and under
• 6-12 years old
• 13 years old and above

The most creative entries will win a special prize. 1 winner will be selected from each age category. Winners will be announced in the beginning of September 2024 on the AANHPI Breastfeeding Week Facebook page. Winners will be notified via Facebook messenger.

Community Survey

If you are a professional that identifies as AANHPI or works PRIMARILY with AANHPI communities in birthing or lactation, we invite you to complete this 10 min nationwide survey and share it with your colleagues.

The AANHPI Lactation Collaborative seeks to compile and create a resource directory to share publicly on our website. Your answers will also help inform future projects focused on increasing access to lactation support and resources for AANHPI birthing people.

If you have completed this survey in the past, please only retake it if you need to update your responses.

Responses are confidential other than information voluntarily provided for the AANHPI resource directory.
