Join us and support the California Work & Family Coalition’s 2023 Virtual Advocacy Week, which will take place the week of August 21st – 25th.

This year, they are advocating for very important legislative priorities that would improve paid family leave, paid sick days, and other protections for California workers, parents, and caregivers. During Advocacy Week, there will be virtual meetings with legislators and their staff to make sure that they hear from you about why these laws are important to you and to your community.

2023 legislative priorities:

• SB 616: Paid Sick + Safe Days for all California workers

• AB 518: Update Paid Family Leave so Californians can care for chosen family members

• AB 524: Protect Family Caregivers from Discrimination

• AB 575: Paid Family Leave Improvements

• Virtual Office Hour August 15th, 12 to 1 p.m. Pacific

  • During the office hour, California Work & Family Coalition will share bill updates and answer any questions about the bills or Virtual Advocacy Week.
