Ginger Cochran, MS, RDN, CEP-ACSM, CDCES is a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and Clinical Educator for Adventist Health in San Luis Obispo, California.

She is on the editorial board of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) Nutrition Care Manual® and runs GestationalDiabetesNutritionist.com and IG @gestational.diabetes.diet

Ginger has served as president of the local Tri-County dietitian chapter, contributed to the Commission on Dietetic Registration’s Certified Specialist in Weight and Obesity Management exam, reviews educational modules for AND, and has worked on projects for the Today Show Dietitian, Joy Bauer, and Woman’s Day magazine.

Ginger was awarded the 2020 Weight Management Practice award and 2018 Young Dietitian of the Year by the California Academy of Nutrition Dietetics.

Ginger is a lifelong learner and is passionate about providing evidence-based, wholehearted, patient-centered care that inspires healthy habits for life.
