BreastfeedLA welcomes all birth workers, lactation professionals, families providing human milk to their little ones, breast/chestfeeding advocates, community health workers, hospital stakeholders, physicians, nurses and anyone else who serves the breast/chestfeeding dyad.

The overall goal of the Infant Feeding Equity Summit is to use a blend of data and personal stories to pinpoint the structural and institutional saboteurs of lactation and to establish non-conventional strategies to overcome them so that families can meet their infant feeding goals. A post-summit report will be published following the event. This post-summit report will include recent breast/chestfeeding data in LA County and all community action planning derived from the summit. This report will guide our next five years of advocacy work.
