Pregnancy and Labor Complications Impacting Lactation presented by Kristy Roloff, DO, MPH

Objectives:

1. Recognize key pregnancy and labor complications that may impact the initiation and maintenance of lactation.
2. Gain insight into how specific complications interfere with mammary gland development, milk production, and the hormonal milieu essential for successful breastfeeding.
3. Equipped with practical, evidence-based interventions and counseling approaches to support parents  experiencing lactation difficulties secondary to pregnancy and labor complications
