How we feed our babies is but one aspect of parenting. Lactation and chest/breastfeeding are intensely embodied experiences that are deeply impacted by one’s gender identity. Ultimately, each individual should be supported in their own personal lactation goals, with the highest priorities being a baby that is adequately nourished and parents and babies who are attaching securely to one another.

Please join BreastfeedLA as we present, ‘Supporting Queer and Trans Parents in their Lactation Goals’, a live webinar featuring Liam Kali, Licensed Midwife. This workshop will explore the impact of queer and trans identity on lactation experiences and goals, including lactation induction in any body, chest feeding after masculinization surgery, and co-nursing.
