In recognition of National Breastfeeding Awareness Month this August, the Tulare Kings Breastfeeding Coalition is pleased to offer a free educational opportunity. We invite you to attend our August Lunch & Learn session, available both in person and via Zoom.

Topic: Let’s Talk Breastfeeding with a Pediatrician

Presented by: Ester Flores, MD, NABBLM-C, IBCLC

Objectives:

• Identify 2 ways of supporting lactation while supplementing with formula, whether due to
  medical necessity or personal preference.
• Identify 2 ways to promote positive social attitudes toward breastfeeding beyond infancy by sharing evidence-based information and reducing stigma.
• Identify 2-3 concerning symptoms pediatricians look for when an infant is experiencing
  gastrointestinal discomfort, while still supporting lactation.
