We are thrilled to share that our Executive Director, Jasmine Pettis, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Human Milk Banking Association of North America (HMBANA), effective January 1, 2026.
HMBANA is the leading voice for nonprofit milk banking across the United States and Canada. Their work strengthens accreditation, advances evidence-based best practices and ensures the ethical, equitable distribution of donor human milk. Jasmine’s appointment reflects her long-standing commitment to equity, access and community-centered lactation support.
In this new role, Jasmine will collaborate with Board members and HMBANA’s Executive Director to help guide the strategic direction of the organization, support governance responsibilities and contribute to the continued impact of nonprofit milk banks nationwide.
